About James E. Sullivan

James was born and raised in Colorado Springs, Colorado. Inspired by his Mother, a lifelong Minister of Music, James singing in the church at the tender age of four.

After obtaining a Music Education Degree, James traveled the United States with a variety of bands as a lead vocalist and pianist with some saxophone on the side.

Throughout the years, James entertained audiences in New Orleans on Bourbon Street, Norwegian Cruise Lines, Clinton Street in Little Rock, Arkansas and most recently Southwest, Florida, where he now calls home. James performs at venues  on 5th Avenue in Naples as well as Bonita and Ft. Myers Beach Florida.

James enjoys involving the audience and encourages participation during his performances as both a soloist and as a dueling pianist.

James’ eclectic style is engaging and described as a mix of soulful sounds with influences from jazz, blues, country, rock-n-roll as well as pop genres. In addition, to piano and saxophone James also plays drums and bass guitar which he adds to his performances.
